PRIVACY POLICY “FSAE Italy” APP 2025

We want to inform you that, under EU Regulation 2016/679 (the “Regulation” or “GDPR“), any personal data you provide or that we collect when using the “FSAE Italy” application (the “App“) will be processed by ANFIA and ANFIA SERVICE.

ANFIA: Associazione Nazionale Filiera Industria Automobilistica, located at Corso Galileo Ferraris, 61 – 10128 Torino, and ANFIA Service S.r.l., also based at Corso Galileo Ferraris, 61 – 10128 Torino, have established a Joint Controllers agreement (referred to as the “Joint Controllers“).
Following Article 26 of EU Regulation 2016/679, the Joint Data Controllers have committed to the following:

  1. Jointly determining the purposes and methods for processing the Personal Data of Data Subjects.
  2. Clearly and transparently define procedures for providing timely feedback if you wish to exercise your rights as outlined in Articles 15 and following EU Regulation 2016/679.
  3. Collaboratively preparing this information notice in compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679.

The joint controllership agreement details the obligations of the Data Controllers in safeguarding the rights and freedoms of Data Subjects. It outlines the technical and organisational measures described in Article 32 of the EU Regulation, as well as compliance with the principles stated in Article 5 of the same Regulation.

The essential contents of the agreement regarding the methods and purposes of processing are available to interested parties. You may request this information from either Data Controller at the addresses provided below.

To ensure the App functions properly, we need to process data and information from users who choose to join the App,  including information from third parties. This may occur when you connect to the App using your social media accounts  or when you complete your profile by uploading information directly from those accounts.

Information you share with us

When you use our services, you choose to provide us with certain information, including: 

• When you create an account, we ask for your phone number, a photograph of yourself, and your email address.  We also require data essential for our services to function correctly, such as your gender, date of birth, Curriculum  Vitae, and any related information, including your professional preferences. 
• When you participate in surveys, focus groups, or other studies, we collect your opinions as well as your responses  and contributions.
• If you contact our support team, we will gather the information you share with us during the support process.
• When you use chat features with other users or post content on your profile, we collect that information as well.

Information we receive from others

In addition to the information you provide directly, we also receive details about you from other sources. This includes  information shared by other app users when they use our services, such as when they interact with you in a chat or submit  a report concerning you.

Information is automatically generated or collected when you use our services

When you use our services, technical data is generated regarding which features you used, how you utilised them, and from  which device you accessed them.

Usage InformationUsing the App requires processing and creation of personal data related to your activity within the  App. For instance, this includes information gathered when you log in, utilise features, and perform actions.

Device Information: When you access our services, we collect information from and about your devices. This includes  data at both the software and hardware levels, such as your IP address, device ID and type, app settings and features,  information about app crashes, and other identifiers associated with cookies or similar technologies that uniquely identify  a device.

Information Collected Through Cookies and Similar Technologies: We do not automatically gather information  through the use of “cookies.” A cookie is a small text file that contains information a website can send to a user’s browser. This information may be stored on the user’s computer as a tag, which identifies the computer but does not identify the  user. 

Other DataWe may collect photos and videos if you choose to post them or participate in streaming features within our services.

How we use your information

To manage your account and provide you with app services, we do the following:

• Create and manage your account.
• Offer support and respond to your inquiries or requests.
• Communicate with you and provide information about our services.

To create professional opportunities, we:

• Link your profile with the profiles of our sponsors on the App.
• Enable users to search for and find profiles of interest among sponsors.

To prevent, detect, and combat fraud and other illegal or unauthorised activities, we will:

• Identify and resolve any ongoing or suspected violations.
• Implement countermeasures against breaches.
• Keep records of violations.
• Exercise and enforce the rights of Anfia Service.
• Communicate with individuals who submit reports and inform them of the actions we take.

To ensure compliance with the law, we:

• Adhere to legal requirements.
• Assist law enforcement agencies when necessary.

We process your information as described in this Privacy Policy, following these legal bases:

  1. Providing you with our services: We process your information to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy and to deliver the services of the App.
  2. Legitimate interest: We process your information where necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party), provided your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests. For example, we analyse user behaviour to improve our features, suggest relevant offers, and promote our services. We also process information to ensure the safety of our users, exercise our legal rights, assist law enforcement, and defend ourselves in legal proceedings.

How we share information

Sharing information with other users is essential for the App’s functionality. We also share some user information with service providers who assist us in operating our services.

Your rights and choices

Access and Update Tools in the App
You can use various tools and settings within your account to access, edit, or remove information associated with your account. If you have any questions about these tools and settings, feel free to contact our client support team for assistance.

Device permissions
The App may request permissions from your mobile device to access certain types of data or features, such as your contacts, photos, camera, location services, or to send push notifications. Advertising identifiers may also be accessed if advertising features are present. You can manage these permissions in your device settings. Denying certain permissions may prevent some App features from working correctly.

Uninstalling the App
You can prevent the App from collecting information by uninstalling it using your device’s standard uninstall procedure. Please note that uninstalling the App does not delete your account or associated data. To delete your account, please use the account closure function within the App (described below).

Closing your account
You can close your account using the option available within the App.

Right of Access
You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you. In certain circumstances, you may also receive this information in a portable format. You can exercise this right by sending a request through our service or using the appropriate links provided in our email communications. If you would like a list of suppliers responsible for processing your data, please get in touch with us.

Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten)
You may submit a request to delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise this right, send a request through our service or use the links provided for this purpose in our email communications.

Right to Rectification
You can correct most of the information we hold about you using the edit function in your profile within our service. If you believe that any of the information we maintain is inaccurate, please reach out to us for corrections.

Right to Object and Right to Restriction of Processing
You also have the right to object to or request the restriction of specific information processing procedures. If you wish to do so, please get in touch with us.

How long will we keep your information

To ensure the security and privacy of our users, we retain account information for six months after an account is closed or services are terminated by the App, which can occur at any time. After this period, we will delete all your data except for specific information that we are required to keep for legal obligations and legitimate interests.
